Refund Policy
Last updated: September 23, 2026
This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for paid Stockpot subscriptions. By subscribing, you agree to this policy together with our Terms of Service.
1. Free Trial
Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial of our paid features. You are not charged during the trial, and you can cancel any time before it ends without paying anything. If you do not upgrade, your account automatically moves to the free plan and is never charged.
2. Subscriptions and Billing
Paid plans (Starter and Pro) are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly, unless you choose another interval). Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
3. Payments and Merchant of Record
Our payments and subscription billing are handled by Paddle, who acts as the merchant of record for your purchase. This means Paddle processes your payment, issues your invoice/receipt, and handles applicable sales tax and VAT. Payments and refunds are subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms in addition to this policy.
4. 14-Day Refund Window
If you are not satisfied with a paid subscription, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial payment. To request a refund, contact us at the email below with the email address on your account. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method by Paddle, typically within 5-10 business days.
5. Renewals
Charges for automatic renewals are generally non-refundable once the new billing period has begun. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel before your renewal date. You can do this at any time from Settings → Billing → Manage billing. You keep access to paid features until the end of the period you already paid for.
6. Cancellations
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not, by itself, refund a charge that has already been made, except within the 14-day window described above.
7. Exceptions
Refunds may be declined where there is evidence of fraud, abuse of this policy, or a violation of our Terms of Service. Where required by the law that applies to you, your statutory rights are unaffected by this policy.
