1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Stockpot ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including restaurant operators, chefs, and kitchen managers who access the platform.

2. Description of Service

Stockpot is a software-as-a-service platform that helps restaurants manage food costs, process invoices, track supplier pricing, cost recipes, monitor inventory, and forecast demand. We provide the Service on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

3. Accounts and Registration

To use the Service you must register for an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of your business to create an account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. You may not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service or its related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you submit to the Service, including invoices, recipes, supplier information, and sales records. You grant Stockpot a limited license to process this data solely to provide and improve the Service. Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding your data), is owned by Stockpot and protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these terms. You may close your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, though certain provisions survive.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided without warranties of any kind. Stockpot is a decision-support tool; you remain responsible for your own business decisions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stockpot is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
